The pain is about an inch from the ankle on the top of my foot, more towards the outside and about an inch past my ankle towards the toes. I was on my knees sitting on my feet and fell back and bent my foot backwards, at the time it didn’t hurt but as the day progressed and walked around it started to hurt. It only hurts when I wear shoes or walk on hard surfaces.
Sounds painful what you did.
I would think it is probably spained or torn ligaments. Get it checked out though because you could have fractured one of the bones in there. And if it is a torn ligament, the doctor needs to monitor that for proper healing or your foot will get messed up later!
Good luck honey!

If you did indeed sprain it, it was a mild one. Generally, with sprains and fractured bones you would have experienced more swelling and pain before now. You may have a mild sprain, or injured tendon or ligament. Just limit your walking, no running, jumping, elevate it when you are sleeping, you can try ice packs on every ten minutes and off every ten minutes, and over the counter pain reliever like ibuprofen. When in doubt, see the doctor…also if not seeing any improvement over the next few weeks see a doctor.
